Herschel Robert's, my father and an inspiration to all!
 My
father's story is so incredible that Late Model Dirt
Track magazine ran a feature article on his story in
September.
He's a typical
65-year old retired union representative, married
to the same gal for 47 years, lives in the same house
for 36, has three children and six grandchildren.
What's not so
typical is that he races Late Model IMCA three times a
week. And he wins. In 2008 he's currently
third in the IMCA National Point Standings for the Late
Model Division. But what is really amazing
is that in 2004 he was diagnosed with stage four cancer.
At one point, he was told he had only six-months to
live. But that was several years ago now and his
spirit for life powers him on to win more races and
provides him more opportunities to share his love for
life with others, whether they be family, friends or
fans.
I've just
given you a brief overview of his story.
